It is recommended that all dogs and cats receive a yearly dental cleaning and oral examination. Dental cleanings are performed under general anesthesia by our technicians using a safe ultrasonic scaler to remove tartar from the teeth and then polish the teeth thoroughly.  Once your pet’s teeth are clean, we can give you tips and tricks to help you remove food particles and plaque at home between professional pet dental cleanings.

Westview Veterinary Hospital offers a wide variety of laboratory diagnostics. Below is a list of diagnostic tools that Westview offers but is not limited to:

A quick, non-invasive procedure proven to increase blood flow and stimulate cell regeneration to aid in healing. This therapy has demonstrated its effectiveness with post-op healing, acute injuries and chronic injuries such as disc abnormalities, arthritis, strains and sprains.

Cryosurgery, or cryotherapy, is the application of extreme cold used to freeze off diseased tissue and skin cells.  The intense cold will result in the death of the targeted tissue while numbing the surrounding sensory nerves, reducing pain and discomfort for the animal.
