  Dr. Ryan joined Westview Veterinary Hospital, Inc. in 2001 as an associate veterinarian. He obtained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2000 from The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. In 2005, Dr Zimmerman bought into the practice as a partner, and by 2010 he became the sole owner of Westview Veterinary Hospital and Lakeshore Veterinary Hospital in 2013. He divides his time as a veterinarian between predominately small animal surgeries and medicine with a focus in orthopedics and ACL repair. He also spends some time with equine reproduction and preventative medicine. Professionally, he is treasurer of The Ohio Veterinary Medical Association, member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Veterinary Orthopedic Society and American Association of Equine Practitioners.

Dr. Zimmerman grew up in Lindsey, Ohio and now resides in Fremont with his wife Sarah. Their kids, Lauren who is a student at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, Faith who is a 2/C Midshipman at the US Naval Academy, and Aidan who is at Ohio State studying Engineering. They have two dogs Deacon and Landry. In his spare time, he enjoys woodworking, cooking, skiing and many other outdoor activities. He also enjoys Brazilian Jui Jitsu and Crossfit where he is an L2 coach at Crossfit 1926 in Fremont.

  Dr. Maddie  earned her bachelors degree from the University of Findlay in 2015 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University in 2019. She joined Westview Veterinary Hospital as an associate veterinarian in 2019 where she enjoys small animal surgeries and internal medicine. She is also Fear Free Certified in efforts to better the lives and experiences of her patients, as well as their owners. 

Dr. Maddie resides in Fremont with her Husband Tyler and their two daughters and two dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends and traveling. 

 Dr. Holly is a graduate from The Ohio State University where she earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Findlay in 2017. Dr. Holly joined Westview Veterinary Hospital in 2022 after completing a year-long internship at Austin Equine Associates in Texas. She continues to practice Equine Veterinary Medicine through emergency care, dentistry, and sports medicine. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Ohio Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Association of Equine Practitioners. Dr. Holly has a cat named Henry and enjoys spending time with family and friends, and showing her reining horses in her spare time. 

Dr. Hartman earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science from the University of Findlay in 2019, her Master’s Degree in Veterinary Biomedical Science from Lincoln Memorial University in 2020, and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Lincoln Memorial University in 2024. Dr. Hartman joined Westview Veterinary Hospital in 2026 splitting her time between small animal and equine medicine. While her interests in veterinary medicine encompass all aspects, Dr. Hartman holds a special interest in small animal surgery, ultrasonography, and ophthalmology along with equine preventative medicine and sports medicine. Dr. Hartman loves spending her spare time with her dog Aboo, traveling, hiking, reading, sporting events, enjoying new foods and music, and being with her family and friends.
